Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi 163PS Titanium X This isn't the highest-level Mondeo you can buy, but it's not far off. Titanium X is the name Ford gives to the recently revised range's top trim level, which includes a substantial amount of equipment including previously absent safety features such as Lane Departure and Blind Spot Warning.
What ruined a fine car is the diesel engine. Unreliable, and expensive to repair. I have heard this is common across all modern diesels, but this is a particularly bad engine in my opinion. The 1.8 TDCi is also getting 39 - 42 mpg at very best, not 48 - 50 mpg or more as claimed on some reviews on here and elsewhere.
Performance. As you’d imagine for a model that fancies itself as a performance car-lite, the Mondeo ST-Line comes with the two most powerful engines in the Mondeo range, the 148bhp and 178bhp versions of the same 2.0-litre TDCi diesel engine.
