However, the HH Sterling will give you 5 switch positions, similarly to the HH Stingray - except that the Sterling switch positions have different combinations of Series and Parallel. That immediately makes it more versatile than the Stingray HH. But, even better, in my opinion, is the single H Sterling.

I currently own a Stingray 5 HH and American Deluxe Dimension 5 H. When the Stingray is set on its bridge pickup, the Dimension sounds remarkably similar. To me, what it comes down to is neck profile. The Dimension appears to be made for people who love the Stingray tone but prefer a Fender neck profile.
